How it works

Getting into a course

  1. Get in touch

By email, phone, or in person at the office on Rheinstraße.

  2. A short conversation

Together we work out your level, your goals and which course fits your week.

  3. Secure a place

You get the date, the location and the materials list in writing.

  4. Start

Many courses allow you to join partway through the term.

Questions

Before you ask

Do the courses cost anything?

Most of what we offer is free for participants because it is publicly funded. Where a fee applies, it is always stated in the course description.

Do I need a particular residence status?

No. Our open programmes are open to everyone. For AZAV-funded measures the funding body’s conditions apply — we will check that with you.

Can I bring my children?

Ask us. We arrange childcare for some courses, and children are always welcome at the speaking café.

Are courses held online?

Some are. Every listed date says whether it is in person, online or hybrid.

Not sure what fits?

Send us one sentence about your situation and we will get back to you.
