For companies

Meet people before you post a vacancy.

Our courses are full of people with professions nobody here recognises on paper: nurses, technicians, accountants. We build on their skills and bring them into conversation with you: company visits, trial days, placements, mentoring by your staff. What comes of it, you decide together.

Non-profit. Terms for placement, workshops and consulting are settled in the first conversation.

From meeting to working together, in five steps

No portal, no pile of CVs. You tell us who you are looking for; we suggest people you can meet. Whether that becomes a placement, an apprenticeship or a job shows itself at work.

  1. Needs conversation

Role, language, team, timeframe. Thirty minutes, on site or online.

  2. Matching profiles

From the WorkNav assessment: professionally checked, language level known, recognition status settled. First meetings within two weeks [verify].

  3. Meeting

A trial day or placement instead of an interview, if you prefer.

  4. Formalities

Work permit, recognition, subsidies such as the integration grant: we know the routes and walk them with you.

  5. Support

For six months after the start we remain the contact, for you and for the new colleague.

Diversity that works day to day

Diversity is not a poster. It is the moment a new colleague understands the shift plan and the team understands her. Workshops and consulting are paid services; a quote follows the first conversation.

  1. Team workshops

Intercultural collaboration, onboarding people who have migrated, language at work. Half a day, on site.

  2. Recruiting advice

Job ads, interviews, requirements: where people are filtered out without anyone meaning to, and how to do it differently.

  3. Recognition & law

What a foreign qualification means, which subsidies exist, which deadlines count.

  4. European projects

As a practice partner in Erasmus+ or CERV projects: exchange, visibility, new methods.

2024
A company visit to the computer course, out of curiosity.
Today
Three placements, one hire, a mentor from their own team.

The company had been searching for half a year. The applications that came did not fit; the people who would have fitted did not apply, because nobody here could read their certificates.

Through Januam came three interns with vetted profiles. What they could do was known beforehand, not after the probation period. Two are permanent members of the team today.

“The difference from other routes: we knew beforehand what the people could do.” [verify: real quote]

What companies ask us

What does working with you cost?

It depends on the format. Placements and hires from funded programmes carry no placement fee for you [verify]; diversity workshops, recruiting consulting and commissioned measures are paid services with a quote. As a non-profit, every surplus flows back into the programmes.

Are the people allowed to work for us?

We settle that before the first conversation. Residence status and work permit are part of the profile; where applications are needed, we accompany them.

Who applies for the work permit?

The application goes through the person at the immigration office; you fill in the job description. We prepare both sides and give a realistic timeline before you commit. [verify: process]

How good is the German?

It is in the profile, tested, not self-assessed. For many roles B1 with professional strength is enough; we say honestly where it is not.

Which subsidies exist for us?

Depending on the case, the employment agency’s integration grant, apprenticeship funding or state programmes. We show what fits and help with the application.

Can we take part without hiring?

Yes: as mentors, with placements, with hardware, as host of a workshop, or as a practice partner in a European project.
